Plan to avoid mistakes and to get the results that you want
Wouldn't it be great to have everything you need to consider all mapped out in a practical plan?
With your ideas are clear (see "great ideas") and workable, the next stage is to set up properly so that it all runs smoothly.
Having helped to start many different businesses, I will build on what you already know and can point out what else would help you get the results and lifestyle you want. As you start to think of all of the things that have to be considered, you will find it reassuring to work it out with someone experienced. Although you do not have to have every move set out in advance, you will appreciate more awareness from your own lists and action plans.
Typically people find it useful to have help with:
- working out if the business could be viable
- preparing forecasts for funding and cash flow
- identifying ways to make you stand out from your
competition - having a checklist to follow, with topics like regulations,
safety or finance - deciding what to pay experts for: like setting up companies, getting on the web, marketing materials
- planning how the business will expand to a certain level of trading
