Using online learning for coaching or your organisation
Do you wish that you had your own online learning system for training materials, multimedia and discussions?
Like you, we want to make sure that our clients can get access to the material and support that they need in the most effective manner and at the most appropriate time. We recommend the following tools to help you deliver your material as well as possible
JigsawBox is an online tool that coaches can subscribe to, and which enables them to upload video and audio content for the people they are coaching. It's simple, cost-effective and enables your expertise to be available all of the time. If you are coaching clients and wish you were able to be in several places at once, make Jigsaw Box part of your infrastructure.

Moodle is one of the most widely used platforms (over 50,000 installations and 36 million users worldwide). Using it, you can host training materials, set and track questionnaires and surveys and set up any number of discussion forums for information, FAQ's or developmental activities.
Until people have experienced properly planned, blended learning they may still think that computer-based training is still a series of slideshows to click through, but this brings the web to life.
With blended learning, the trainer or coach will set assignments to read, blogs to write, open chat rooms at set times, set discussions in motion and enable groups to collaborate on projects and wikis. Line managers are able to track how delegates have participated and progressed. This virtual learning environment (i.e. web-based) allows people to access materials anywhere at any time, and you always have a record of progress and proof of training. The online element does not replace live trainers with recorded material - it stimulates interaction, reflection and engagement before and between the face-to-face sessions, making a big impact on the results.
